What to Bring to the Theater

Have your dancer bring all of his or her belongings in a laundry basket clearly marked with his or her name.

Beach towel or small blanket to sit on

Robe or cover-up clothes
(for leaving the dressing room for bathroom and food.)

Slippers or comfy slip-on footwear

Travel mirror

Make-up for touch-ups only

Make-up remover

Hair Supplies (Brush, hairspray, bobby pins, hairpins, gel, hair net)

Safety pins (variety of sizes)

Wet wipes/hand sanitizer

Deodorant
-
Extra tights
-
Quiet activities for downtime
- Do NOT bring:
- markers, games, or toys that are messy, make noise, or have small parts

Make sure to bring a water bottle labeled with your name!

Saturday – there is a designated time to eat – between shows.

Both Friday and Sunday – dancers should have a meal before arriving so they can be properly fueled for these shows.

Backstage volunteers will be available to help younger dancers get a quick snack at the appropriate time if needed.

Hand sanitizer and or wipes should be brought with your dancer if they bring any food so they can wash their hands easily.

Dancers should NOT eat any food while in costume.

Ideas for easy snacks that are not messy: string cheese, pretzels, crackers, raw veggies, granola bars. No colored drinks. And plenty of WATER ☺

A pizza dinner is offered for all dancers and parents between the Saturday shows since dancers are not permitted to leave. Dancers may choose to pack a npn-messy dinner instead.
