Information for all dancers:

ALL dancers must wear flesh-colored leotard under costume & new pink tights (order form provided)

Do NOT wear earrings (unless your part specifically calls for it)

NO fingernail polish

*Additional accessories may be provided by the studio for some roles

Please do the majority of your make-up at home. It is fine for dancers to do touch-ups in the dressing room, but when dancers bring ALL of their make-up they tend to remove and reapply their whole face as an activity, which many times leads to missed entrances on stage or makeup on costumes. Pack lipstick and necessities only.

New pink pointe shoes, hair in a bun with attached curls (must purchase separately), large bow.

New or very clean pink ballet slippers, hair in a bun with attached curls (must purchase separately),.

New black ballet slippers or jazz shoes, white knee-length socks, hair in a low bun.

Nutcracker Doll
Red ballet slippers, red tights, red leotard (borrow from studio), hair in a low bun, special makeup design (photo provided and there are people who will help with this!)
Little Doll
New or very clean pink ballet slippers, hair in a bun with attached curls (must fill out an order form).
Big Doll
New pointe shoes (or very clean ones without any tears), hair in a bun with attached curls (must purchase separately),. Special makeup design will be shared with you.
Soldiers
Black ballet slippers or jazz shoes, black knee-length socks (over-top of tights), hair in a low bun.

Party Girl
New or clean pink ballet slippers, hair in a bun with attached curls, American Girl doll (or equivalent-size, non-breakable) inside a doll box covered with bright wrapping paper and bow.​
Mice
Gray ballet slippers (bring in an old pair of pink ballet slippers and we will take them to be dyed, or borrow gray slippers from the studio) Hair in a low bun.
Party Boy
Black ballet slippers or jazz shoes, hair in a low bun.

Male dancers may have special costumes and will be told what they will need to wear for their parts.
